A complete rebrand of Nashville-based indie rock back Vacation Manor including photography, branding, and motion design to promote their 2019 Spring tour.
After releasing their second album, Everything I Can't Saw Out Loud, Vacation Manor was looking to change their image to build off of the release while still being unique for their 2019 Spring tour. They were looking for something very different from their past work by taking from the pages and canvases of the old Dutch masters, using darker, earthy tones with contrasting yet subdued colors. We were able to further lean into this contrast by adding a touch of the modern through the typefaces, modernity of the outfits, and rustic yet Baroque set design. The hope is to create an almost dream-like quality with an imposing sense of weight that will be in conflict with the music.
Photography was done by Nashville photographer Matthew Simmons with my direction and treatment.
